After last weeks Miss Manchester, the NOTW reports that "legendary scorer with women" Lee Sharpe was eyeing the ladies at Mancheser 235, but ended up pulling corrie babe Kym Ryder.

According to todays report they trawled a load of Manchester bars, including Panacea, Manchester 235 and Relish, before ending up at the "posh" (their words, not mine) Palace hotel. Where they ordered room service.

Miss Manchester was - incidentally - won by a girl who's own mother won it seventeen years ago. Mum Gaynor, pictured right, said "I won Miss Manchester at the Britannia Hotel when I was 17 and Kid Creole was one of the judges on the night." Winning daughter Jessica Simpson said: "My dream is to go out to Hollywood and act. I am determined to make that happen.".
