Dragons Den lose Manchester home

A little know fact about Dragons Den is that it's filmed in Manchester. The minimlist main room, complete with bare walls and staircase, was based inside a Manchester warehouse, with the Dragons and presenter Evan Davis making the trip up from London.

Whilst the rest of the BBC readies itself to make the move up north, they've been forced to move the Dragons Den away from Manchester. The warehouse in which they film has been sold to a property developer, so - for a short time - the Dragons were without Den.

For the new series the BBC has loving recreated the warehouse at Pinewood Studios, complete with the giant clocks (very similar to the ones in Odder)and piles of fake money, plus they have James Bond filming next door.

Series Six of the Dragons Den will appear on BBC2 in late 2008.
