That sausage throwing incident....

If you're been watching the news lately then you'll have read about the local boy who was charged with throwing a sausage at a seventy four year old man. The local and national media have picked up on this, but as is usually the case there's a much bigger story behind this once you get past the froth.

Great Manchester Police have gone on record to say that this was part of a series of antisocial incidents in the Woodhouse Park area, that the man had been intimidated by local youths and that the boy had already been cautioned three times, which is quite a feat for a twelve year old. Since he admitted throwing the sausage, the only option was to charge him.

Hmmm.......
