Forget about the council wanting to clamp down on new bars and clubs, we'll all be dead by then!
Manchester suffered a sixth earthquake at 5am this morning. Seismologists at the British Geological Survey, up in Edinburgh, put down their glasses of whisky and told the BBC that they'd received reports of "rumbling and faint shaking".
Beds had rattled and there was a single report of a 'creaking' building.
The quake measured a puny 2.4 on the Richter scale, which is approximately the same level recorded at the stampede for last orders in Fallowfield. The earthquake on August 10th measured a slightly more impressive 2.5.
Earthquake quota
The UK gets around nine earthquakes each year, with most so small that they're not even felt. That means that Manchester is officially the UK's most earthquake hit city.
