Ithaca: Nearly There
When you're planning Manchester's first £3million bar restaurant then you should expect the unexpected (and then expect that your project may get delayed because of them).
Builders, money and walls can disappear overnight (The latter delayed the grand opening of Ascension in the Northern Quarter) but you can forgive the team behind Ithaca for not considering that God might get in the way.
After a long and unnecessarily bitter struggle with the church they're finally close to opening their newbar restaurant....and it's expected (but in no way guaranteed) to be launched this Summer, even as soon as this month!
Further down Deansgate and the Cocoa Rooms is set to re-open as well.
