The closure of Angel Deelite was a shock to most Mancunians, especially us. Each and every Friday night they would take over Club V and ply us with soulful funky house music, some decent residents but they were also unafraid of bringing in some big name DJs, with Yank Jocks their speciality.


Looking back at their list of guests this club actually deserved more respect than they got. Joey Negro, Sandy Rivera, Junior Jack and Kid Creme, Ron Carroll, Hardsoul, Jay J, ATFC, Reel People, Roy David Jr....and that's barely scratching the surface.


Since the closure they've had a bank holiday special, but now we've heard news that they return! The 24th November is the date, the venue is Alter Ego on Princess Street.
